Prior to establishing my psychotherapy and coaching practices, I worked for twenty years as an urban planner with some of Canada’s most dynamic corporations and as an adjunct assistant professor at the University of Toronto. The practice and teaching of urban planning at UofT Architecture and Planning programs brought a unique first-hand understanding of work-life, work-life balance, and academic life.
In my psychotherapy & coaching practice, I work with people who suffer from mood disorders, anxiety, depression, life transitions, school or work difficulties and relationship issues.
I am a member of the Toronto Psychoanalytic Society (guest) (TPS), and of the Canadian Association for Psychodynamic Therapy (CAPT). I completed the program in Advanced Training in Psychoanalysis at the Toronto Psychoanalytic Society, and the four-year in-class training in psychoanalysis program at the Toronto Psychoanalytic Institute.
I am trained and certified in professional coaching by the Adler School of Professional Coaching and am an accredited certified coach (ACC) member of the International Coaching Federation (ICF). I am Myers-Briggs certified by Psychometrics Canada to administer and interpret the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator.
