Coaching for Teams: Communication & Presentations
“Communication is not about what we said but what our audience heard.”
~ Peter Drucker
An often overlooked first step in making a presentation is identifying your audience, knowing what information they seek, and understanding how to present that information. Communicating effectively means:
- presenting different kinds and amounts of information in different ways depending on your audience, and
- communicating the information people want in a way that taps into their interest and knowledge base.
This workshop will help you understand your own natural communication style as well as the preferred communication style of your potential audience. If you understand a person’s communication style, you will significantly increase your chances of reaching that person and achieving the sought-after result, be it a job, a contract, or academic recognition.
